Forgings test

We test forgings of various sizes and shapes by magnetic particle test or penetration test. With regard to the surface quality and required sensitivity it is possible to use both tests either in daylight, artificial lightning or by means of UV light. We use ultrasonic testing in order to reveal possible inherent defects in forgings by means of mobile digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH LT and XT.

Sheetmetal test

We test the sheetmetal ranging in thickness from 6 to 200 mm in order to find out dual welding or inclusions by means of direct single and double probes connected to mobile digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH 600, EPOCH 1000 and XT. On customers request we also provide testing on grid or on 100% of the surface. It is also possible to include one of the surface testing methods if necessary.

Casting test

We test castings of various sizes and shapes by magnetic particle test or penetration test. With regard to the surface quality and required sensitivity it is possible to use both tests either in daylight, artificial lightning or by means of UV light. We use ultrasonic testing in order to reveal possible inherent defects in castings by means of mobile digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH 600, EPOCH 1000 and XT.

Weld test

We test welds ranging in thickness from 8 to 150 mm in order to find out inherent defects in forms of faulty soldered joints, cracks, leakers, holes, slags or inclusions by means of the whole range of angular and both direct single and double probes connected to mobile digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH 600, EPOCH 1000 and XT. By mutual consent with the customer we also provide testing of less common weld sizes on the grounds of written procedure. Weld test is usually followed by one of the surface test methods  such as VT, PT or MPI.

Stainless, rigid and other weld deposit test

We test stainless, rigid or other weld deposits ranging in thickness from 3 to 20 mm in order to reveal inherent defects in forms of faulty soldered joints, cracks, inner weld deposit cracks, leakers, holes, slags or inclusions by means of the whole range of angular and both direct single and double probes connected to mobile digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH 600, EPOCH 1000 and XT. By mutual consent with the customer we also provide testing of less common weld sizes on the grounds of written procedure. Weld test is usually followed by one of the surface test methods  such as VT, PT or MPI.

Testing thickness of material with ultrasonic scan

We test thickness of metallic and non-matallic material by means of ultrasonic equipment or thickness-meters within the range of 0,2 to 300 mm. When measurements are carried out more extensivelly, for instance on furnace plates or on pipes, we are able to create a map of corrosive loss with the help of software of digital equipment of Olympus Panametrics EPOCH XT, EPOCH 600, EPOCH 1000.
